Every year, many gather to this special event, to celebrate Fighting Games. A genre born from the arcades, they require patience, mastery, and skill. Past, and present, gaming has grown to another level. Plus video game music, an integral part of the experience has also grown on its own path. This soundtrack celebrates what gaming means to us, those who were born into it, and those future gamers to be.

Back in the day, Contra was one of the best, no a legendary rocking action/adventure title. It battled with the best in the arcades, and home platforms. Starring two heroes, against an alien threat. It was brutal, challenging, and difficult. But you were not alone, you could team up with a friend. Plus the music, completed the experience. Every stage, and boss had a theme song that accompanied the action, wonder, and suspense.
